Progress on the tunic

I am doing good progress on my son's tunic.I haven't cut the neckline yet and all that remain is to do embellishment. That's difficult because I do not know card weaving and I don't have any trim that will do the job.

I didn't plan to do it but I did.The tunic of my son is entirely hand sewing and because I used an historical shape , I don't want to make a modern decoration.Hopefully I do have option B under my arm which I will explain when I show the final result.

A brooch I buy to close the future opening at the neck. The size is too big for a child clothing but thank to the seller who send me 2 free broochs as an extra.I don't know if it was  a mistake but the size of the 2  is perfect. No doubt there is a lot of love in this costume.
