For christmas , part 1

Back in november and december , I was in the christmas mood and preparing  gift and sweets.Before  christmas I had a firm resolution : no buying of decorations and making the gift as much as possible.Even if I would love to , I can't buy gift for everyone.I don't have a lot of money right now and when I will go back to work , it would be quite different.

My first try ever to put whole cloves in mandarin.I left them dry in a small basket on the table.The pale mandarin gave better result .The skin is more thin and it's easier to put cloves in it.It smell great , really not aggresive.

A tiny gift for people I know put won't have the chance to see.It's a small box of true cinnamon .

Finally entirely done , the christmas socks.I don't put to much decoration on it as I thought I will add some in the future.At left it's mine , at right the one for my little pirate who ask for a blue one.

For my honey  who didn't know what he want .

For my daughter , the crown is to make sure it's her.She have the name of 2 famous queens.The butterflies I put on my kids socks is for what I always told them : you are little caterpillar who will become beautiful butterfly.

For the cats,because everyone should have a treat for the holidays.I didn't have the time to shop but I will try to found a cat to put on it.

I'm glad I had the time to finish the socks.I did put surprise to everyone in it , a doll , dragon, spices for my honey.We had a great time doing it and it was much appreciate by the kids.
